A Gift We Can Share
This weekend is my birthday wish; time with all of you, all in one place. My hope is that we’ll head home with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and the knowledge that together we created something that reaches far beyond our campfire.
The cost to attend camp is $300 per adult. Kids come free. If you’re able, I’d love for your contribution to cover the cost of the weekend. Any amount beyond that will become part of one collective donation from all of us to Campfire Circle.
For the past 17 years, I've had the privilege of volunteering as a counsellor at Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch), a camp for kids with childhood cancer and other serious illnesses. Every year, incredible kids have taught me about hope, resilience, joy, and the power of play. They remind me that some of life's best moments happen when we stop worrying about how we're supposed to act and simply throw ourselves into the fun.
It costs about $2,000 to send one child to camp for a week.
My dream is that our weekend together helps more kids experience the same camp magic that has meant so much to me.
The greatest gift we can share is simply showing up for one another. Everything else is a beautiful bonus.
